Som València: more than 400 artists unite for DANA

4th of november 2024 -After the catastrophic passage of the flood through the province of Valencia and other regions of the country, the music sector unites in solidarity. From 11 November, SOM VALÈNCIA will hold a series of solidarity concerts in numerous cities and venues in Spain. This initiative, born between several agents of the music sector and adopted by the music industry, seeks to raise funds that will go entirely to those affected through the Huerta Sur Foundation, a non-profit organization with over 50 years of experience strengthening the cultural and social fabric of Valencia.

Artists of all styles, along with venues and professionals from the sector, will offer music to cheer up the spirit and channel solidarity from all over the country. Tickets, priced between €15 and €20, will be available from 7 November at 12 noon. DICE, which will not charge commission and will assume the transaction costs to ensure that 100% of the proceeds reach their destination. There will also be a row zero for those who want to contribute beyond the ticket price.

SOM VALÈNCIA invites cities, towns and entities to join in by organising their own solidarity events or giving the proceeds from the activities.
