The people who make up the Foundation
Fundació Horta Sud is structured around three main branches: the Board of Trustees, the technical team and the teaching staff. The work, commitment and dedication of these people have made – and continue to make – it possible for the Foundation to become a dynamic and ethical driving force in the territory.
The Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is the governing and representative body of the Foundation. It is made up of people with diverse interests and backgrounds, with recognised prestige in the social field in which they work, and includes representatives from five regional institutions: Caixa Popular, Florida Universitària, Mancomunitat Horta Sud, Institut d’Estudis Comarcals and La Nostra Escola Comarcal.
The Technical Team
The Foundation’s team is responsible for the organisation’s technical work. Over the past year, the Foundation’s team has grown from six to eleven people, forming a professional team with extensive experience in the management of social organisations.
The Teaching Staff
The teaching staff, made up of experts from different fields and linked to the associative sector, support associations in their learning processes and in resolving doubts related to the day-to-day management of organisations.
Collaborations
Collaborators and donors contribute their time and knowledge to strengthening the community through the Foundation, helping to reach more specialised management areas and to expand networking efforts.
