We continue building the Community Space together: next session, Tuesday 20 January
The session will take place in the building located in Benetússer and it is necessary to fill in this form in order to take part

We want to consolidate a strong network of associations that share knowledge, resources and experiences
09 January 2026 – We believe that the strength of our territory and our community lies in the ability of associations and people to connect, collaborate and organise together. That is why we continue moving forward in the creation of a network of organisations and a Community Space open to the entire region. A shared place that will be much more than a building: it will be a meeting point where we can learn, coordinate and support each other.
After the first participatory session, which took place last July and gathered ideas about uses, activities and needs for the space, we are taking a new step with the second session, on Tuesday 20 January at 6:00 pm, where we will work to generate proposals to ensure that the space operates in a sustainable, fair and collaborative way.
The session will take place at number 92 Camí Nou Avenue, Benetússer, in the new building that will host the Community Space, and you are all invited to attend, contribute your ideas and jointly build a collective, useful and accessible space for the whole community. You can register and confirm your participation through this form.
The session will be facilitated by the team from Arquitectura sin Fronteras, Quatorze, Enpeu and Quidam. This group collaborates in the development of the neighbourhood community regeneration programme “Asertos”, which includes the architect, public health specialist and Princess of Girona Foundation Social Award 2024 winner, Daniel Millor Vela.
What is a community space?
A community space is a place where the community meets, learns, shares and coordinates. This model is inspired by Resilience Hubs, reference spaces that emerge from the community itself and are designed according to the real needs of those who use them. They are trusted places where resources can be shared, information exchanged, initiatives connected and mutual support networks strengthened, helping the community to anticipate, adapt and thrive in the face of everyday and future challenges.
With this initiative, we aim to consolidate a strong network of associations and organisations that can not only coordinate in times of need, but also, throughout the year, share knowledge, resources and experiences, strengthening the community and improving the lives of all the people who are part of it.
