Needs Diagnosis of the Associative Fabric After the floods

November 28, 2024– At the Horta Sud Community Foundation (FCHS), we have been acting for 52 years in the region that is today the epicenter of the catastrophe caused by the DANA. Since our nature is to strengthen the associative fabric, always from the protection of human rights, we know in depth the social, business, and institutional network of this territory, and at the same time we have the capacity to detect needs and coordinate resources.

For all these reasons, we launched a collection campaign for the social recovery of our territory. From the Foundation, being aware of the scale we can embrace, we channel the voluntary contributions from individuals, collectives, institutions, and entities to make our community thrive.

However, in order to act equitably and swiftly, and to reach where it is needed, we must first know what the damages caused are and what the needs of the associations are. Therefore, we ask you to fill out this form.

With the data collected by December 4, the evaluation committee will make A FIRST DIAGNOSIS OF THE SITUATION, determine an equitable strategy, and begin to implement the aid approved by the committee.
