We are launching a fund-raising campaign for the recovery of the associations concerned

1st November 2024 -The Fundació Horta Sud has launched a fundraising campaign to support the recovery of around 2,000 associations and foundations affected to a greater or lesser extent. Our aim is to give them direct financial support over four years and to accompany them in the process of restoring confidence in the future.

Lives have been lost in educational, cultural, sporting, artisan, agricultural, energy, care, consumer, leisure, migrant, women, elderly and youth communities. And also infrastructures, tools, resources and projects. After the emergency, we will have to rebuild our lives.

The actions we will carry out with the money we raise will be promptly reported and are guided by the principle of transparency.

THE PHASES OF THE CAMPAIGN

The fundraising campaign we are carrying out will be open for one and a half months until mid-December. The next phase of the project will be the distribution of the money raised, which will be done in a permanent dialogue with the recipient associations.

At the moment we cannot specify the details of the mechanisms, the deadlines or the amounts, as we do not yet know the final amount of the funds raised, and only a few days after the disaster we are still diagnosing the damage.
