An example of international solidarity in the face of a disaster like DANA 

11th de marh 2024 – Solidarity, even international solidarity, has been essential in helping the communities affected by the DANA floods in l’Horta Sud. In this context, we want to highlight and deeply thank the generous gesture of PARC (Palestinian Agricultural Development Association), which has made a donation of 5,000 euros to support social reconstruction efforts and provide assistance to associations in the zero zone.

It should be noted that this contribution was made possible thanks to the mediation of the Assembly for Cooperation for Peace (ACPP), which channeled PARC’s donation through the Horta Sud Foundation.

This donation is a clear example of how solidarity between peoples knows no borders and how, in times of crisis, communities can support each other to overcome challenges. PARC, with more than 40 years of work in Palestine, has been a benchmark in humanitarian aid and the promotion of resilience, and now, in a gesture of solidarity, it has decided to contribute its grain of sand to the Valencian people.

This contribution reminds us of the importance of international cooperation and how the bonds of solidarity between different communities can strengthen collective resilience. The Horta Sud Foundation sincerely appreciates this act of solidarity, which reinforces the ties of cooperation and helps us move forward in the task of rebuilding our land.
