2025 School of Citizenship Days
This year the event will focus on fake news and will feature Bea Lara, journalist and community manager at the Maldita.es Foundation

September 17, 2025 – Once again, the Citizen Movement Foundation is organizing its School of Citizenship Days, a space for reflection and learning on key issues for our society with the support of the Horta Sud Foundation and eight other partner organizations.
This year, Bea Lara, journalist and community manager at the Maldita.es Foundation, will participate. This initiative works to build trust and fight disinformation through citizen participation and collaboration with civil society experts.
Fake news is a key factor in the ideologization of today’s teenagers. Developing ideologies based on misinformation can lead to denialism of reality, which is why it is essential to promote critical thinking and media literacy.
The event will take place at the headquarters of the Citizen Movement Foundation (C. José Luis Lazkanoiturburu Korkostegi, 14, Manises) and will begin at 10:00 a.m. with participant registration, followed by the welcome and presentation of the day by the Citizen Movement Foundation. Afterwards, Bea Lara will deliver her lecture on disinformation and ideologization in teenagers, including a Q&A session and discussion with attendees.
Those interested in attending can register in three ways: by filling out this form, replying by email with their information, or sending a WhatsApp message to 621 374 873 with their details.
