September 4, 2025 – Within the framework of the Save the Photos project and with the collaboration of the Horta Sud Foundation, the Horta Sud Regional Museum is organizing a second practical workshop on the conservation and recovery of graphic archives affected by the DANA, this time focused on audiovisual materials. The activity is aimed at professionals and people interested in preserving domestic and community audiovisual heritage.
The workshop, which will be held from September 9 to 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., aims to train participants in basic techniques for cleaning and stabilizing film and magnetic media, raise awareness about the fragility of audiovisual heritage, and create collaboration networks for future emergencies.
The workshop has a total duration of 26 hours and the registration fee is €180. Those interested can reserve their place by writing to museu@museuhortasud.com.
