Civil society is committed to the recovery of the associative fabric of l’Horta Sud
Solidarity initiatives from the worlds of culture, sport, associations and business have joined in the reconstruction of the region.

4th of november de 2024 -Solidarity initiatives are springing up everywhere with the aim of raising funds for the reconstruction of the region.
The Horta Sud Foundation is the recipient of many of them, as an entity with the capacity to channel these resources to the associations and groups of the region, the heart of the villages; spaces for socialisation and mutual support that are fundamental for local development.
Civil society has taken action to lend a hand. The different agents of civil society have mobilised from the first minute of the crisis to help rebuild the associative fabric of the counties most affected by the flood.
AN EXAMPLE OF COMMUNITY SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Among some of the solidarity initiatives that have been launched over the last few days, we would like to highlight the following:
- Som València. Almost 200 artists of all musical styles, venues and entities linked to music have launched this unprecedented multiple event: a series of concerts in different cities throughout Spain on 11, 12 and 13 November. The proceeds from the concerts will go entirely to the affected associations.
- Kilòmetres associatius amb Sergio Turull. Sergio Turull is a influencer de running (@pitufollow) who uses his visibility on social networks to support solidarity events of all kinds. Last 8 November he promoted the organisation of a virtual race that has been echoed around the world.
